Hobbes

Hobbes, named after Hobbes from the comic Calvin and Hobbes, was Michelle's 100 lb. German shepherd.

 

She had him for nearly 15 years, the entire time Pacific Tails was being developed from an idea to prepping to be published.

 

He passed away June 2, 2023, 4 months before publication date. Finishing the last few aspects of Pacific Tails without him by her side has not been easy, but he will forever live on in her heart.
