A movie theater attached to a mall. An outdated mall under construction, completely closed and locked up. Several teens trapped inside. With a killer hunting them down, one by one.
This was my first YA thriller from Richards and I bought it because the setting sounded completely spooky and terrifying. I love being a the movie theater, and can only imagine being trapped inside! And the book did not disappoint. This was a fast-paced read. The main character has trauma from her past, which actually helps in this situation, which was a nice spin on using something negative for something positive. I enjoyed this book and will read others from Richards. It tied up all the loose ends, completing the story on a good note.
