Holy smokes. this book. I'm obsessed with it. This has several trigger warnings and they are to be taken seriously. However, if you still want to read it, it will make your jaw hit the floor.
H.D. Carlton has written a duology, with hunting adeline as the sequel, however haunting Adeline is my favorite one. this book has a ghostly mystery backstory, on top of the dark romance between Z (Zade) and Adeline.
then there is chapter 16. bookmakers and bookstagrammers all understand what is being said without using words, when chapter 16 is mentioned. spice galore!
This was the first book to introduce me to dark romance and i am so happy i found it! Enjoy!!!!!
